Thanks for visiting my blog! Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I have been painting for about 21 years and have evolved my style from strictly rendering realistic images to a looser, more expressive approach. I have chosen to paint abstractly because it gives me more freedom to explore ideas and materials. About 10 years ago I started introducing collage to my work for a more exciting visual experience and to enhance the textural component of my work. I lived in Tennessee for about 18 years and often visited the Smokey Mountains, which explains my tendency to incorporate stones,rocks or water. Please take a look around and visit my gallery.
